Everglades Gator Park

Nature Preserves, Tamiami Trail

Fodor's Review:

After visiting Everglades Gator Park you can tell your friends you came face-to-face with -- and even touched -- an alligator, albeit a baby one. You can also squirm in a "reptilium" of venomous and nonpoisonous native snakes or learn about Native Americans of the Everglades through a reproduction of a Miccosukee village. The park also has wildlife shows with native and exotic animals, 45-minute airboat tours, and RV campsites, as well as a gift shop and restaurant. The last airboat ride departs 45 minutes before sunset.
