Fodor's Review:

Bob Miller wanted to build a Holiday Inn next to his Oyster House Restaurant on marina-channel shores. When that didn't go through, he sent for cabin kits and set up mobile home-size units around a pool on his property. Guests who rent these cabins get free boat docking. A full cabin, done up in wood, tin roof, and polished floor, has a full kitchen and separate bedroom with screened porch. Duplex cabins -- one of the best deals in town -- come with a small fridge and microwave, with or without a screened porch. Pros: convenient to ENP boating, good food options, marina. Cons: crowded trailer park feel, no phones.

A Unclean and Unpleasant Stay at the UNcozy Cabins

Posted by Kate from Florida on 12/19/05

Save yourself an unpleasant visit to the Everglades/Glades Haven Cozy Cabins were substandard, dirty, had no AC and the "heated" pool was definately not heated. The charge for the cabin was way overpriced and the owners were even more unpleasant than the cabin. This place and the owners are definately not ready for prime time but charge their foolish customers like they are.
