The White House Historical Association operates two shops. The flagship store is in the White House Visitor Center, adjacent to the White House between 14th and 15th streets, and there's a smaller shop in the historic Decatur House on Lafayette Square just a block from the White House. Both shops sell the Association's official merchandise, which are all well made. You can find everything from top-selling Christmas ornaments to jewelry, ties, T-shirts, books, and accessories. Ten dollars or less will get you cocktail napkins, bookmarks, or a wooden Easter egg. The more expensive items include silk scarves, hand-painted enamel boxes, and jewelry with cameos of the White House. The charming staff offers fun facts about the White House for free.
