Fodor's Review

On Friday from 5 to 9 pm, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, local jazz groups perform to packed crowds in the Pavilion Café at the Sculpture Garden. Listeners dip their feet in the fountain, sip sangria, and let the week wash away. From October to June free concerts by the National Gallery Orchestra and performances by visiting recitalists and ensembles are held in the West Building's West Garden Court on Sunday night. Entry is first come, first served, with doors opening at 6 pm and concerts starting at 6:30 pm. On Wednesday, free midday performances of classical music begin around noon. Also check out their film series.
