Fodor's Review

This state-of-the-art center for film is a restoration of architect John Eberson's art deco Silver Theatre, built in 1938. In addition to its many educational offerings, the AFI hosts film retrospectives, festivals, and tributes celebrating artists from Jeanne Moreau to Russell Crowe. The AFI Silver also hosts the annual Silver Docs festival, which features some of the world's best documentaries and appearances by some of the greatest filmmakers, such as Martin Scorsese.
