JW Marriott, Washington, D.C Review

Despite the slick, upscale chain feel to the place, from the location near the White House to the views from the top floors, it's hard to forget you are in the nation's capital when you stay here. Upstairs, rooms are beautifully furnished and are both super-comfortable and well-geared to business. Down in the lobby there is always lots of hustle and bustle as the many tourists and businesspeople who stay here get ready to take on Capitol Hill. You can grab your morning coffee from the Starbucks in the lobby.

    Love the JW Marriott

I recently spent a weekend at the JW Marriott in Sept. and have nothing but good things to say. I have gone at least once a year to DC and always stay here. The staff are always very nice and helpful. On the higher floors the view of Pennsylvania Ave at night is breathtaking as far as the eye can see and worth every penny. The concierge has always been helpful in where to eat or what to see. It's a great weekend escape.
