This link in a Minneapolis-based chain is a beautiful throwback to another era, with dark-wood paneling, semicircular red booths, white tablecloths, and a pink glow that makes everybody look great. Oceanaire distinguishes itself primarily with first-rate ingredients; you see it at its best by ordering simply, picking from the list of fresh fish that heads the menu—perhaps walleye pike or local rockfish. The portions are often big enough to feed a family of four. This place is a good time, and even better if you go with a group.

I've been here twice in the past year, thinking it has to be better than i remember with linen tablecloths and fresh fish, as well as fresh menus, but really, service lousy, fish uncooked and even things they make special like tartar sauce inferior to store brands.
