This popular bookstore-cum-café is a favorite neighborhood breakfast spot. It's also a late-night haunt on Friday and Saturday, when it's open around the clock. There's a simple menu with soups, salads, and sandwiches, but many people drop in just for cappuccino and dessert. The "dysfunctional family sundae"—a massive brownie soaked in amaretto with a plethora of divine toppings—is especially popular. Catch a live music performance—everything from rock to the blues—here Wednesday through Saturday from 8 pm to midnight.
