Phoenix Park Hotel

$$-$$$, Capitol Hill

User Rating: ** 1.6

Fodor's Review:

Named for a park in Dublin, this hotel is across the street from Union Station and four blocks from the Capitol. A case in the lobby holds a collection of Waterford crystal. Rooms, which vary in size, have a Celtic theme, with Irish linen and original artwork. Other rooms are a bit heavy on pink. The three duplex suites have spiral staircases. At the always-packed Dubliner Pub, Irish entertainers perform nightly.

What a nightmare weekend. They have Motel 6 thin walls and we heard the squealing teenage girls both nights of our stay. Front desk was not helpful. I caught a cold from the A/C system. Not a good value for the money.
