Bistro Bis

Bistro Bis Review

A zinc bar, spacious brown-leather booths, and a glass-front display kitchen create great expectations at Bistro Bis, the second restaurant from Jeffrey Buben, owner of the much-acclaimed Vidalia. The seasonal menu seamlessly merges Modern American standards with French bistro classics. For a first course, be sure to try the steak tartare. Main-course hits on the menu, which changes frequently to reflect market and seasonal choices, include classic steak frites, trout with caramelized shallots, and lamb shank with black olives and polenta. But don't be fooled by its daylong hours and convenient location—the mood is more meet-the-parents than family-friendly.
