Fodor's Review:

With more than 1,000 rooms, this hulking redbrick Victorian structure dominates a pretty block on Connecticut Avenue. The Marriott enjoys spectacular views of Rock Creek Park, and is an easy walk to Adams-Morgan and the National Zoo. Guest rooms and public areas of the older eight-story section do not stray too far from typical Marriott styling. Rooms in the newer convention-ready main complex are more contemporary, with chrome-and-glass touches. The hotel offers kids' menus and crayons in the restaurant, has a pool, and can arrange for a babysitter.
