Fodor's Review:

One block from the National Air and Space Museum, this family-friendly hotel is also well equipped for business travelers, including free Wi-Fi. Newly renovated rooms have upgraded beds, granite vanities in the bathrooms, and include coffeemakers and hair dryers. The downtown sightseeing trolley stops here, and you can buy discount tickets for National Air and Space Museum's IMAX movies at the front desk. Kids under 19 stay free, and those under 12 eat for free at Smithson's Restaurant.

Great location! Beds are very comfy. Just like any nice Holiday Inn you have stayed at but only 2 blocks from washington mall or subwaY. There are not many restruants nearby. During week, rate increased 170/day to 270/day and we moved to Hotel by Foggy Bottom that was nicer(but not as convenient) for 170/rate.
In house restruants are above average for holiday Inn but nothing special.
