Book NowHoliday Inn Georgetown Review
On the edge of Georgetown, this Holiday Inn is a short walk from Dumbarton Oaks, National Cathedral, and Georgetown University. Many guest rooms offer a scenic view of the Washington skyline. There's a free shuttle service to the Metro and a bus stop at the front door. Kids under 12 eat free, and rooms offer video games.

It's been a long time since we stayed here, but we did have good experiences when there. The location is good and it was a good family hotel for us.

The rate was USD350 in June 2008,
and USD299 in May 2009, and much bigger than the value they offer. All the staff are very supportive and thoughtful, though. The surroundings around the hotel are good in the Georgetown University area. The bus routes 32 & 36 are useful to go to downtown, and the bus stops are just in front of the hotel. It is needless to say that all Georgetown cosy shops and restaurants are in the 15-20 minute walking distance.
