Town and Country, the hotel's inside-the-Beltway power bar, has been a place for political wheeling and dealing for nearly as long as the hotel. Work off the booze and the crab cakes, a favorite on the menu at the hotel's elegant Café Promenade, in the spa-like fitness center.
