Good Stuff Eatery Review

Fans of Bravo's Top Chef will first visit this brightly colored burgers-and-shakes shack hoping to spy charismatic TV chef Spike Mendelsohn, but they will return for the comfort-food favorites. The lines can be long, as it has quickly become a favorite lunch spot of congressional aides, but Spike's inventive beef dishes—including the "Blazin' Barn" Asian burger topped with Thai basil and pickled radish—are worth the wait. After placing your order cafeteria-style, remember to grab several of the fresh dipping sauces for the tasty thyme-and-rosemary-seasoned hand-cut skinny fries or Vidalia onion rings. Just as important, leave room for a toasted marshmallow or chocolate malted shake that's as thick as the ones you remember from childhood.

I've been here twice, once for a meal and once for what I was told was a FANTASTIC sundae. The meal took forever and was fairly small for the price I paid, and the sundae was foiled by miserable service. I waited forever for the large sundae I ordered (which they had to input as a red line beer due to some glitch). After half an hour an employee handed me a melted kiddie cup of ice cream that had been there when I arrived and said that he didn't think there were different sizes of sundaes despite the giant sign next to him. Acquaintences have told me of terrible backlogging of orders where employees resort to calling out orders that multiple people try to claim. It's tasty, but not worth it. Go to Five Guys instead.
