Washington, D.C. Restaurants

Westend Bistro Review

Eric Ripert, the chef of New York City's award-winning restaurant Le Bernardin, quietly removed his name from this upscale boite in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in 2012, but new chef Devon Bozkaya is working hard to keep wowing the swells of Foggy Bottom. Portions of swanky comfort food, such as macaroni-and-cheese and fish burgers with saffron aioli, have grown larger since the handover, but be warned that the handmade cocktails are now a skyscraping $14 per glass. Stick to the locally named specials like Winter in Washington, a sweet-tart twist on the average cranberry-and-vodka.
