Fodor's Review:

Following a $13 million renovation in 2005, this enormous Hyatt gleams with a five-story atrium lobby and totally redesigned guest rooms. These rooms, colored in soft gold with dark-wood furnishings, feature fluffy bedding with pillow-top mattresses, white duvets, giant pillows, overstuffed chairs, and beautifully appointed bathrooms. The Old Town Trolley picks you up right in front of the hotel to visit Washington's key tourist destinations.

This hotel is not in a very good area. There is a "back alley" presence when you arrive at the hotel. The catering services and meeting services at this hotel are horrible. Not only did we have things stolen from our meeting room but one of the catering managers was eating off of our buffet. Totally unprofessional.
