Since it opened in 1918, the Hotel Washington has been known for its view. Washingtonians bring out-of-towners to the outdoor rooftop bar (open May to October, weather permitting) for cocktails with a view of the White House grounds and the Washington Monument. The hotel sprang from the drawing boards of John Carrère and Thomas Hastings, who also designed the New York Public Library. Guest rooms are comfortable but not the city's most modern, and those in the interior portion of the hotel are small.

I think W plans to open a hotel there sometime in 2009 after extensive renovations - expect a big price hike when a new hotel opens here...
The "1" ratings can all be interpreted as "not applicalbe" as the hotel does nto exist.
