Book NowThe Melrose Hotel Review
At this European-style boutique hotel, the gracious rooms are done in a soothing palette of creams and blues. All have marble baths, and many have pullout sofa beds, making this hotel a good choice for families. Watercolors of local attractions were specially commissioned for the hotel. The lobby connects to the Landmark restaurant and intimate Library bar. Note to light sleepers: Rooms facing K Street are quieter.

Great location.
Staff was friendly but room was not thoroghly cleaned. bed was cheap and uncomfortable. Room was VERY quiet despite busy location.
Resturant and bar have high prices.
Valet was nice. Wireless internet slow but functional.
I would stay again but not seek it out. -

This hotel is one of the better in DC. It is an upscale hotel at a reasonable price. Located in a nice neighborhood, the Melrose is only a short walk away from the Foggy Bottom METRO stop. The staff is polite and helpful. Melrose will be the first place I check when I return to DC.
