Fodor's Review:
The Irish-run Jurys chain has breathed new life into this older building on Dupont Circle. The shining white marble lobby contrasts somewhat with the older pinstripe decor of the guest rooms, which are a good value given the hotel's excellent location. Rooms have writing desks, coffeemakers, hair dryers, and complimentary newspaper delivery. Biddy Mulligan's Bar draws a festive Guinness-guzzling crowd.

The verdict on The Jury's Doyle

A charming boutique hotel in a great location. Not worth more than the $99. special rate. The hallways were in need of a good cleaning and the rooms were lovely but cramped. We saw an ad that mentioned a mini fridge in the room...for our meds and water. Since we found a mini bar..we called the desk and got permission to move some items and replace them with our meds. During checkout the desk clerk was accomidating and did not charge us..but the manager on call was within earshot and demanded evidance that I did not remove any mini bar items. When I complained about her tone stating that an ad for the hotel advertised a fridge and not a mini bar.she countered with "i doubt it..where is it"! When I asked for her name she gave another managers instead of hers. It spoiled our stay..for sure.
