Hidden away inside the Ritz hotel, in what was once the Georgetown Incinerator, this modern bar is a breath of fresh air in the neighborhood's rather monotone scene. With an extensive wine and cocktail selection behind the black granite bar and a hip, well-dressed set of patrons in front of it, Degrees exudes elegance from all corners. If there's too much attitude in the bar, head out to the hotel's lovely lobby and sit by the fireplace. This is a perfect pre-movie, post-date, mid-shopping stop.
