Fodor's Review:

Shopping and sightseeing couldn't be more convenient at this hotel, which tops the Chevy Chase Pavilion mall and is an elevator ride up from the metro. Each suite includes a table suitable for dining or working. The fitness center has more than 20 exercise stations and available personal trainers. Evening cocktails are offered daily in the sun-filled atrium. As with other Embassy Suites, a full cooked-to-order breakfast is included.

We were very happy with the accomodations -great free breakfast, lots of room in the suite, microwave and refrigator.

It is right inside a mall and the metro is below the mall - you don't even have to go outside.

There are restaurants and stores in the neighborhood. For myself, husband and 16 year old son, it worked out well. After very full days, we just wanted to come back, eat and then crash for the night...
