Fodor's Review

The cramped stairway delivers you to a performance space designed to look like a cave, a complete and accurate renovation of the Crystal Caverns, once a mainstay of D.C.'s "Black Broadway" and the place to see Miles Davis and Charlie Parker. The club rightfully calls itself "the Sole Home for Soul Jazz." These days Friday and Saturday are given over to jazz, and open-mike night on Wednesday brings jazz-influenced poets to the stage.
