Armed Forces Concert Series
Armed Forces Concert Series Review
In a Washington tradition, bands from the four branches of the armed services perform June to August on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings on the East Terrace of the Capitol. Concerts usually include marches, patriotic numbers, and some classical music. The Air Force celebrity series features popular artists such as Earl Klugh and Keiko Matsui on Sunday in February and March at DAR Constitution Hall.
Sylvan Theater. Other performances take place at 8 pm from June to August, on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights at the Sylvan Theater. Washington Monument grounds, 14th St. and Constitution Ave., The Mall, 20001. 202/426-6841. Smithsonian.
