Washington National Opera

Fodor's Review:

Under the directorship of Plácido Domingo, the Washington National Opera presents eight operas in the fall and spring at the Kennedy Center Opera House. The operas, presented in their original languages with English supertitles, are often sold out to subscribers, but you can purchase returned tickets an hour before curtain time. For standing-room tickets to each week's performances, inquire at the box office starting the preceding Saturday.
