Fodor's Review

Eric Ripert, the chef of New York City's award-winning restaurant Le Bernardin, quietly removed his name from this upscale boîte in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel a few years ago, but Westend Bistro is working hard to keep wowing the swells of Foggy Bottom. Portions of swanky comfort food, such as macaroni and cheese and fish burgers with saffron aioli, have grown larger since the handover, but be warned that the handmade cocktails are now a skyscraping $15.
