Fodor's Review

Enjoy a steak on the patio at the Downtown location of this national chain, one block from the Renaissance Mayflower, a D.C. landmark hotel. In classic steak-house tradition, the emphasis is on quantity as well as quality; the New York strip and porterhouse steaks weigh well over a pound each. Special menus for gluten- and soy-avoidant eaters are also available. But if you have an even larger appetite (or you plan to share), there's a 48-ounce porterhouse that nears a

three-digit price tag, once tax and tip are included. Prime rib, lamb, veal, chicken, lobster, and grilled fish are also on the menu.
