Fodor's Review

The boisterous chatter in this warehouse of a dining room may make for a less-than-calm dinner, but crowds are buzzing with good reason over their fresh sashimi and succulent ginger-marinated fried chicken. Pork gets its due in both sparerib and belly forms, not to mention a potato croquette that piles zesty meat upon crunch. Smooth tuna tataki and a citrusy snow-crab tempura roll rule the raw-fish menu, and Eastern-flavored liquors such as chai-infused bourbon make for clever cocktails. Teens will get a kick out of this breath of chic air in the often staid D.C. dining scene, and the twenties crowd will appreciate the late-night hours.
