Fodor's Review

The crossing of French, American, and African cooking makes for offbeat flavors and textures that often soar, lifting this restaurant-within-a-restaurant—inside Kora, a larger offering from Ivory Coast-born chef Mourou Ouattara—above its bigger sibling. Lemongrass-cured duck and lamb with barbecued palm fruit are among Ouattara's flights of fancy, with frequent nods to the flavors of his home continent. Indeed, this is a daring restaurant, but with a personal touch—it's named for the chef's daughter.
