Fodor's Review

Once jointly owned by a Democratic super-lobbyist and a former Republican National Committee chairman, this quintessential Washington political restaurant got a postpartisan makeover in 2012 as it became an in-house hotel restaurant. The cuisine now skews more Franco-American chic than masculine power luncher, but three types of steak are still available and a hearty "Blue Dog" bacon cheeseburger nods to the kitchen's past life.
