In the refined and romantic restaurant of the chic Mayflower Inn & Spa, gaze out from the dining room's large windows—or from your seat on the terrace in warm weather—toward the formal English gardens while enjoying deftly prepared regional American cuisine. The menu changes seasonally but might list Block Island swordfish with rosemary-white-bean stew and tangerine-glazed pancetta or Kobe-beef carpaccio with Parmesan aioli. After dinner, stop by the paneled library for a glass of cognac.
