Cornwall Inn Review
This 19th-century inn on scenic U.S. 7 combines country charm with contemporary elegance; eight rooms in the adjacent "lodge" are slightly more private and rustic in tone and have white cedar-post beds. The restaurant ($$$), which overlooks the pool and colorful gardens, serves a seasonally changing American menu. The Houstatonic River is a short walk from the inn.
