Carole Peck is a well-known name throughout New England, and since this café opened in 1992, foodies have been flocking to Woodbury to sample her superb cuisine. The emphasis is on healthy, innovative, and surprisingly well-priced fare: wok-seared Gulf shrimp with new potatoes, grilled green beans, and a garlic aioli or Cuban-style black-bean cassoulet with duck confit, pork, chorizo, and wild boar are good choices. In the simpler room next to the bar, you can order from a less expensive café menu.
