West Cornwall Bridge

West Cornwall Bridge Review

A romantic reminder of the past, the wooden, barn-red, one-lane bridge, not to be confused with the town of Cornwall Bridge (which was named for an earlier covered bridge that stood originally on that site), is several miles up U.S. 7 on Route 128 in West Cornwall. The bridge was built in 1841 and incorporates strut techniques that were copied by bridge builders around the country.
