Greenwich

You'll have no trouble believing that Greenwich is one of the wealthiest towns in the United States when you drive along U.S. 1 (called Route 1 by the locals, as well as West Putnam Avenue, East Putnam Avenue, and the Post Road, among other monikers), where the streets are lined with ritzy car dealers, posh boutiques, oh-so-chic restaurants, and well-heeled, well-to-do residents clearly pleased to be able to call Greenwich "home." The median home price in Greenwich hovers around $2 million these days. In other words, bring your charge cards.
