Bentara

Bentara Review

With so many wonderful Asian restaurants in New Haven, it's hard to single out one stellar selection, but Bentara has plenty going for it—a cuisine (Malaysian) somewhat uncommon in America, a charismatic and talented chef with a penchant for innovative preparations, and a charmed setting inside a vintage redbrick building on an up-and-coming downtown street. Apart from traditional noodle stir-fries and soups, watch for such tempting dishes as grilled salmon with a coconut-turmeric-lime sauce.
