Fodor's Review

With bellhops dressed as newsies, a pair of spectacles emblazoned on all of the hotel's signature items, and overflowing bookshelves in the hotel's lobby and suites, The Study is a chic lodging for the scholarly set. Overlooking the sea of brick buildings that make up Yale University, this boutique hotel is designed to fit in with its erudite surroundings. The smartly decorated guest rooms have all the amenities of a posh hotel (plush Frette linens, iPod docks, free Wi-Fi) as well as long desks, sharpened pencils, and leather reading chairs. Make sure to treat yourself to a cappuccino or a cocktail in the light-filled lobby.
