Connecticut Science Center

Connecticut Science Center Review

Scientists of all ages will delight in Hartford's science center. The strikingly modern building, designed by world-renowned architect César Pelli, houses 40,000 square feet of exhibit space under a wave-like roofline that appears to float over the structure. Dive into a black hole and examine the moon's craters in the Space Exploration exhibit, race mini-sailboats and magnetic trains at Forces in Motion, and discover your hidden athletic talents in the Sports Lab. Kid Space is perfect for the 3- to 6-year-old crowd, with a water play area, "I Spy" adventure activities, and magnetic ball wall. Complete your visit by taking in a movie in the 3-D digital theater. The café emphasizes locally sourced cuisine.
