Whether you're in jeans and seeking a light lunch or dressed to the nines and out for a fine dinner, this long, narrow space with leather-and-suede banquettes, distressed wood floors, and smoked-glass mirrors suits the occasion. Lunch specialties from the contemporary Italian/French-inspired menu include a warm spinach and duck salad, or the seared rare tuna club served with avocado. At night, try the red wine braised short ribs. The same owners run the superb Mediterranean restaurant around the corner, Bricco.
