Metro Bis

Fodor's Review:

A casual bistro in the center of downtown Simsbury has become a hallmark for creative, farm-fresh (often organic) mod American food. The oft-changing menu might feature house-smoked salmon with roasted golden beets and Osetra caviar, slow-roasted Niman Ranch pork with steamed baby bok choy and braised fennel, and maple-white chocolate bread pudding with crème anglaise. Prices are remarkably reasonable for such high-quality food.
