Fodor's Review:

Large guest rooms with four-poster canopied beds and European linens, antiques, and reproductions, highlight this stately inn. Fresh flowers and paintings by local artists add homey touches, and bathrooms are done in Carrera marble. In the center of Farmington's historic district, the hotel is within walking distance of several excellent restaurants, including the adjacent Piccolo Arancio, serving contemporary Italian food. Pros: good value, walking distance of downtown shopping and dining, fluffy linens and featherbeds. Cons: continental breakfast is unremarkable; lacks a pool or other recreational facilities.
