Internet, Mail & Shipping

The demand from stockbrokers wanting to monitor the tickers and families wanting to check e-mail has turned many of the ski resorts -- including Vail and Beaver Creek -- into outdoor, easily accessible Wi-Fi zones. Wi-Fi is available (sometimes for free but usually for an hourly or daily fee) in almost all the larger hotels. Many local coffee shops offer free Wi-Fi if you bring your own laptop. Hotels with business centers often have a dedicated computer or two for Internet access. If Wi-Fi is essential to you, check with your hotel when you book.
