This longtime hangout set inside a 1930s-era log cabin has walls covered with hunting trophies. (If stuffed animal heads aren't your thing, think twice about eating here.) Locals swear by the steak, prime rib, and fresh salmon. Stop in for a brew and some buffalo wings and watch how some of the Vail Valley residents kick back.

Overpriced Bad Food
Posted by Levinsonh from Chicago on 2/10/07
Had the WORST experience in the Vail Valley. My Bison sirloin was 50% fat and the manager said it is the fattier of steaks. I asked if half the steak should be fat he said "yes"---I don't know how you feel about this but for $35 I want to eat meat, not fat. Beyond that, 4 of our meals were completely wrong and the server blamed us! I have been going to Vail for 25years and eat out a lot. This was THE WORST EVER!!!--DONT GO!!!

Worst Dining Experience Ever!!

Terrible service, bad food, high prices, and unethical behavior. They are not interested in the food business, only in taking your money. The only good part of the meal was the wine. Save your money. This was absolutely the worst dining experience this group of nine people has ever seen - but we will always have the memories - YUK!!
