The 10th Review
Find respite from the usual mountain fare at this high-end, high-up restaurant at the base of Look Ma run. There are spectacular views of the Gore Range, a cozy bar and lounge with fireplace, and a south-facing outdoor deck with heated tables. Warm your bones with dishes like the pot-au-feu of beef; veal short ribs with lamb sausage, ricotta dumplings, and a ham-and-Gruyère broth; or heritage chicken-and-pheasant potpie with heirloom veggies and vermouth cream. And there's no reason to tromp around in your ski boots—the restaurant offers heated booties, and bathrooms have hair dryers, mouthwash, and hairspray to help with mid-ski grooming issues. This place gets packed, so make reservations or plan on coming before or after the rush.
