The Osprey at Beaver Creek, A Rock Resort Review

You can't get any closer to a ski run in the U.S. than the Osprey, unless you sleep on the lift. Reincarnated in 2009 from the rather Victorian-style Inn at Beaver Creek, this sleek, chic slope-side hotel is steps from the Strawberry Park Express high-speed quad lift. The rooms in this truly boutique property (there are a mere 41 of them including a two-bedroom penthouse suite) are refreshingly spacious and airy, illuminated with large lamps and a cozy gas fireplace. Among the amenities you'll find in the "minibar" are nail polish and bottled oxygen. Couples can enjoy tapas at the 18-seat bar next to the "living room" lounge or compete at the nearby Wii-gaming station.
