Fodor's Review

For a quick, but nevertheless indulgent, bite, the Met is a fine choice après ski or as a midshopping nosh break. The wine and tapas bar looks like an oenephile's cafeteria, complete with a wine fountain that dispenses three pour sizes of 16 different wines. Make a meal of a few small plates, like the tasty shrimp and grits with bacon or sweet and salty brussels sprouts. The butter-poached Maine lobster tacos, with ancho chili cream and pico de gallo, and the signature jerk shrimp tacos are not to be missed. Note the colorful cocktails, including honeydew-melon-cucumber sangria and the Spicy Beaver, a blend of tequila, cilantro, lime, jalapeño, and agave nectar. The restaurant also contains a high-end espresso bar that uses Colorado-based Dazbog Coffee beans.
