Housed in a turn-of-the-20th-century hardware store, the museum uses its front room to produce an exact replica of the essentials marketed for survival in a rugged mining town. There's an exquisite diorama of the town in the 1920s, complete with a moving train; information on the Utes who used to roam the area; skiing, sledding, Flauschink (a traditional ceremony for the welcoming of Spring), and biking exhibits; and the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame.
