Tall Texan Campground

Fodor's Review:

The heart of this campground is the congenial recreation room with its comfortable couches, books, tables, and numerous and obscure games. The campsite is on 10 acres of green meadow shaded by cottonwood trees. There are 97 RV sites, 5 cabins, and numerous tent sites. Scattered through it all are a plethora of picnic tables and outdoor grills. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available. Pros: a great place to meet fellow travelers, pastoral setting, Wi-Fi available throughout. Cons: social, communal atmosphere, no restaurant on-site, 2 mi from Gunnison.
