3rd Avenue National Historic District

Fodor's Review:

The 3rd Avenue National Historic District (known simply as "The Boulevard"), two blocks east of Main Avenue, contains several Victorian residences, ranging from the imposing mansions built by railroad barons to more-modest variations erected by well-to-do merchants. The hodgepodge of styles veers from Greek revival to Gothic Revival to Queen Anne to Spanish Colonial and Mission designs.
