Fodor's Review

Dating from 1875, the Edwin Carter Discovery Center is dedicated to the "log cabin naturalist" who helped to create Denver's Museum of Nature and Science. Look for realistic stuffed animals, including a large buffalo and a burro carrying a miner's pack. The interactive exhibits also include a hands-on taxidermy workbench.
